Beeswax Candle
A 100% pure handmade beeswax candle. The wick is made of cotton and contains no metals. Our beeswax candles are a sustainable product without the harmful, unhealthy fumes of paraffin candles. Good for people and the environment.

Handmade Soap
We use high quality honey and beeswax in all our soaps. Honey has always been an important ingredient in skin care products. It has an antibacterial, disinfecting and a soothing effect on the skin. The beeswax contains vitamin A, ensures that your skin retains moisture and can also breath. Beeswax also has excellent anti-inflammatory properties. Together with the oils, the skin is cleansed, nourished and cared for. We do not use preservatives, alcohol, dyes or other unnatural substances.

Beeswax melts are used a lot in aromatherapy, because of the many health benefits. It was therefore a must that we started with these lovely beeswax melts as well. The unscented beeswax melts have a nice aroma. But you can also choose for beeswax melts with essential oils that are beneficial for your health too. Beeswax is known for its long, slow and clean burn. Packed per 5 beeswax melts you can always enjoy the scent of beeswax with or without essential oils.

Wood Polish
Vicus Apis wood polish with real turpentine, linseed oil and of course beeswax. Our wood polish is soft and easy to use. The wood polish is absorbed by the wood and protects the wood against drying out and insects. After treatment, the wood has a beautiful colour and a deep shine. It is advisable to repeat the treatment every year to keep the wooden objects in optimal condition.
Only use this wax on a wooden surface. You can think of a wooden floor, dishes or furniture. Thoroughly clean this surface and make it dust-free. In case of water damage or damage, first sand with fine sandpaper and sand with the grain. Not applicable to wood that has been treated with paint or varnish, it will have to be removed first.

The face cream with a hint of rosemary is ideal for normal and dry skin due to its high olein content. The avocado oil makes the face cream a very rich, highly moisturizing and soothing cream. The shea butter provides protection and nourishes the skin and the beeswax ensures that your skin does not dry out. By combining these three ingredients, the elasticity of the skin restores, so your skin stays young and radiant. The face cream is rich in minerals and vitamins A, E, D and F.

This handy soap bag is made of 100% cotton. Thanks to the cord, you can easily hang it on the tap in the shower, for example. The soap remains strong and is longer usable because it dries faster. You can also use the soap bag as a washcloth. Durable, handy and handmade especially for Vicus Apis.

Bee Pollen Raw
Pollen, the male spores of plants, are collected by the honey bees. As soon as the honey bees land on a flower, the pollen will stick to their hairy body. Because honey bees visit many flowers, and take and leave pollen everywhere, fertilization of seed plants takes place. The core of the symbiosis between pollinator and seed plant. Bee pollen is diverse, healthy and has very high antioxidant properties.

The bee pollen comes 100% from the sparsely populated Hungary. The honey bees collect their pollen here.

Propolis Tincture
Traditionally, propolis has been a remedy for inflammation and other conditions. The honey bees use the propolis to keep the hive free from bacteria and fungi. The antibacterial and anti-fungal effect of propolis has been known since ancient times and makes propolis a high quality and powerful natural antibiotic. Propolis is very rich in organic compounds, minerals, vitamins and bioflavonoids.
Note, 1 in 2000 people is allergic to propolis.

The propolis tincture 30% water based contains no alcohol and is suitable for internal and external use. Also suitable for children.

Because our honey is not pasteurized or processed in any other way, the honey contains small amounts of B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, various antioxidants and various sugar structures. This makes honey a healthy sweetener. The micronutrients differ slightly per honey flavour.
The honey goes from hive to end product without any processing process. The taste, colour and viscosity can therefore differ slightly per order. However, the quality is always high.
These small differences give the honey character and that's how it should be, we believe: no kilo of honey is exactly the same.
